Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Flooffy Loaf is designed to keep your baking data on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not operate a Flooffy Loaf cloud backend that stores your recipes, starters, or bake timelines.
2. Information the App stores on your device
Depending on how you use the App, it may store locally:
- Recipes you create or import (including plain-text imports)
- Starter names, feed logs, and related reminders you configure
- Bake sessions and schedule preferences (for example Quiet hours and kid bedtime)
- Settings such as kid mode defaults and notification preferences
- Local subscription or trial state used to unlock Pro features on this device
This information stays in the App’s local storage on your phone or tablet unless you export, share, or back up your device through your platform’s tools (for example iCloud or Google device backup, if you enable them).
3. Permissions
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the App may schedule local reminders for bake steps and starter care. Notification content is generated on your device. You can disable notifications in system Settings or in the App.
Files / documents
If you import a recipe, the App reads a file you select (plain .txt)
to create a local recipe. We do not upload that file to our servers.
4. Purchases, trials, and donations
- Subscriptions / Pro: When in-app purchases are enabled, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive your full payment card details. Platform stores may share limited transaction information (for example purchase status) needed to unlock or restore Pro.
- Donations / tips: Optional tip links (for example Ko-fi) open in a browser or external service operated by that provider. Donations do not unlock Pro and are subject to that provider’s privacy policy.
5. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
As of the date above, Flooffy Loaf does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use cross-app tracking for ads. If we add analytics or crash reporting later, we will update this policy and App Store privacy labels before or when that change ships.
6. Children
The App includes family-oriented features (for example kid mode tips). It is intended for use by parents or guardians together with children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online; baking data you enter remains on the device.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it in the App (where available), clear app data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling typically removes on-device App storage, subject to your device OS behavior.

- Deny or revoke notification permission in system settings
- Avoid importing files you do not want stored locally
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google account settings

10. Changes
We may update this policy as the App changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you should review the new policy.
